What is Twitter Flight School?
Twitter Flight School is an online learning platform that teaches you everything you need to know about marketing on Twitter. Whether you’re new to Twitter or a seasoned digital professional, Twitter Flight School offers courses tailored to every level of expertise.

At Twitter Flight School, there are no big exams, no “take up your whole lunch break” sessions. We purposefully crafted our content to be self-guided and completed at your desired pace. Our coursework is uniquely structured to let you pick and choose what you want to learn. Start with the fundamentals or jump into video or performance campaigns — you decide if you want to work toward a milestone or find just what you need to get a campaign up and running.

Twitter Flight School offers three types of credentials:

From the homepage, click on the “Courses by role" tile under “Quick Links”. You’ll find coursework tailored to those in Planning, Investment, Creative, Performance, E-Commerce, Operations, and Strategy roles.

Can I delete my Twitter Flight School profile?
Yes. You can delete your Twitter Flight School account by going to your profile page and clicking “Delete profile” located below your avatar.

Credentials FAQ

What types of credentials does Twitter Flight School offer? How can I earn them?
Twitter Flight School offers three tiers of credentials:

• Twitter Flight School Wings: Explore foundational concepts and skills with courses that cover the basics of Twitter as a platform and Twitter advertising. Wings are awarded upon completion of course content, with no assessment required.

• Twitter Flight School Badges: Cover essential proficiency on Twitter’s tools and products such as video and performance advertising. Badges are awarded upon passing an assessment.

• Twitter Flight School Pro Certificates: Putting it all together, learners can earn Pro Certificates by collecting a series of Badges around a given skill or competency.

Each of these digital credentials can be shared on Credly, LinkedIn, Twitter, or other social media platforms.

What are the benefits of earning a Twitter Flight School credential?
Twitter Flight School credentials represent your achievements and level of proficiency as you master advertising on our platform. Wings, Badges, and Pro Certificates from Twitter, certify that you are an expert in a given topic and can apply that knowledge in your work. You can also show off these achievements to your professional network on social media to stand out in your industry.

Where can I find current Badge offerings?
To view our current Badge offerings, please visit the Earn a Badge page.

Where can I view the credentials that I’ve earned?
To view your earned credentials, please navigate to your avatar at the top right of the platform and then click “My Profile".

If I feel that I'm already an expert at a topic, do I still have to review all of the material?
We recommend that you complete the coursework associated with a Badge. However, if you would like to test your knowledge and jump to the assessment, you can! If you find any gaps in your knowledge, you can always go back and review the course content.

How many attempts do I have to earn a Badge?
You may attempt an assessment as many times as you’d like. You must receive a score of 80% or higher in order to earn your Badge.

What if I'm not interested in earning a credential at this time? Can I jump to the specific content I'm interested in?
Yes, all content is available for both credential achievements and for just-in-time learning. If a credential is not your end goal at this time, you can preview content or target specific best practices, pro tips, or instructions using just-in-time courses.

Where and how can a credential be displayed?
Credentials can be shared to Linkedin and other social media platforms, or can be downloaded as a PDF file. To view your earned credentials, visit the “Licenses & Certifications” section of your profile.

Your earned credentials can also be synced with a Credly account. You may connect your LinkedIn, Twitter, or other social media account to Credly to make sharing your achievement even easier.

How long is my credential valid for?
Credentials are valid indefinitely as long as the coursework is up to date. We'll notify you if we update a course that requires you to brush up on your knowledge in order to keep your credential. You may have to retake an assessment if there is one associated with your credential.

How do I renew my credential if it expires?
If we launch a significant update to a course, we will require you to pass the assessment again. Please note that the assessment questions may have changed since you first earned your credential, so be sure to review the associated content before attempting the assessment.

Do other people on the platform see my credentials?
By default, other users on the platform will not be able to see your credentials. If you would like to change this, you will need to set your profile to "public.”

Can I share my credentials with my employer?
Yes, you can send your employer your credential via the Badge URL or download a PDF file to send through email. If you choose to sync your credentials with Credly, you will have the option to share them with your employer if they also have a Credly account.

What happens to my credentials if I change employers?
Your credentials are tied to your Twitter Flight School account. If you change employers, simply log in to your existing account and update your email address and associated Twitter handles via the “My Profile” page.

Can a credential be revoked?
Yes, a credential can be revoked for failing to operate in accordance with Twitter Ads Policies.
